This week some real events went down. Mos Def gets signed to G.O.O.D music. Giving Kanye another Hip-hop heavyhitter on his label. This means that Common and Mos Def are definitely gonna collab again. At Least I hope so.
Yo Gotti gets Wale, J.Cole, and Wiz Khalifa to all collab on a superior remix for his track "Look In the Mirror." The track was dope, but it seemed like J.Cole took over the spotlight with his verse. Wiz did his thing on it too. Great idea for the collab.
Then, Drake brings out J.Cole at Radio City in NY. Cole came out, performed "Who Dat," and dipped. Classy business move. Could easily be a big moment in hip-hop.
Not only did Drake let J. Cole perform, he was also part of something bigger. The Dueces Remix dropped, adding another banger to your Hip-hop library. Even though the theme was R n'b based, it's pure hip-hop. With the likes of Andre 3 stacks, and Kanye, anything would go in. Loso and T.I. also respectfully went in on their verses for Dueces as well.
