Rick Ross Dropped By Reebok

Wow. I did not think that this would actually happen to Rick Ross. It appears as thought the sneaker company Reebok has dropped Rozay.
TMZ reports:

“Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so. While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse.”

I find this to be absolutely horrendous. I have and will never condone rape, but one stupid lyric on a track with Rocko? Are you kidding me? Rick Ross probably recorded that verse three months ago. I knew it would get out of proportion, but to get dropped by Reebok? It isn't about money, it is about the stupidity of the situation. He is not the first artist to touch on rape, and definitely will not be the last. The sad thing is, NO ONE WILL REMEMBER ANY OF THIS BY THIS SUMMER. NO ONE. Just like Zimmerman and Holmes. Stupidity at its finest ladies and gentlemen.
