Hollow da Don, Murda Mook, T-Rex & Arsonal All Win The First Ever PPV Total Slaughter (Recap)

Hollow da Don defeated Slaughterhouse's own Joe Budden in the final battle of hip-hop's first ever PPV rap battles. It was a very controversial match, as Hollow basically did everything he had to in order to win, including "stopping" the clock to tell Joe that he's a F*ggot and he would f*ck him up if he saw him hit a woman in front of him. Joe had some bars though. And the MC did not go down easy. There were a lot of sound issues, which led to being one of the biggest issues in the event.

Murda Mook beat Lux, which was one of the best battles ever. I compare it to Hulk vs Andre in the first Wrestlemania. Both artists came fully prepared, but clearly the better battler in Murda Mook won.

T-Rex defeated Daylyt in what was the weirdest display in rap history. After basically winning the first two rounds, Daylyt, who was recently featured at the end of Ab-Soul's These Days Album and was in a spawn suit during the first two rounds, acted as though he was possessed and "forgot to take his medication for schizophrenia". The California battler then freakishly got into his underwear on stage, still mimicking being possessed. It was very odd, but I think it was cool and I also think Daylyt might have some real good music coming. T-Rex was crowned winner by default apparently. Daylyt could have won if he said anything in the third round instead of his act.

Lastly, Newark MC Arsonal wrecked Big T in the first round of battles. The Jersey rapper was extremely animated, and has an incredible delivery that Big T couldn't over top.

All in all, it was an enjoyable, but kind of half assed show. I truly hope there will be more to come.
