According to XXL, Kendrick Lamar could be sued over a sample used on his Section.80 album track “Keisha’s Song” from back in 2011. The accuser is Eric Woolfson of The Alan Parsons Project. Woolfson’s representation, Woolfsongs Limited, is accusing Kendrick and his team of using parts of their song “Old and Wise”. Apparently, Woolfsongs attempted to contact Lamar’s representation back in April of this year, but they were unable to reach an agreement, mainly because of the defendant’s unresponsiveness. Woolfsongs Limited is now reportedly seeking compensatory damages.
